Synopsis
As a child, Azucena seeks revenge for his mother's execution by the father of Count Luna but mistakenly throws his own son into the flames and kidnaps Manrico, Luna's brother, whom he raises. Manrico becomes a troubadour and falls in love with Leonora, while Luna discovers that the troubadour is the rebel Manrico and challenges him to a duel. Later, Leonora is kidnapped by the Count, but Manrico rescues her. When the Count interrogates Azucena about his lost brother and learns of his mother's execution, Manrico tries to save her but ends up imprisoned. To protect him, Leonora falsely swears to become the Count's woman and takes poison. Enraged, the Count orders Manrico's execution, but Azucena reveals that Manrico is his own brother, declaring vengeance fulfilled.
I worked as an Assistant director on this project.
