SYNOPSIS
Tosca, a famous actress, meets with Scarpia, the chief of police, in an attempt to save her lover, the painter Cavaradossi, who has been captured and faces execution. Scarpia demands Tosca's sexual submission in exchange for sparing Cavaradossi's life. Tosca reluctantly agrees, hoping that Scarpia will honour his promise. However, Scarpia betrays her and orders Cavaradossi's execution regardless. In a fit of despair and rage, Tosca kills Scarpia but realises that her lover's execution is inevitable. As the soldiers arrive to arrest her for Scarpia's murder, Tosca chooses to take her own life rather than face capture and certain death.
I worked as an Assistant director on this project.
